> Topping collaborates with HOLO AUDIO to launch a brand new fully balanced 8-channel R2R DAC.
> It features 8 resistor array networks, distributed across both sides of the circuit board, creating a unique fully balanced configuration. Four resistor arrays on the front side are dedicated to DSD decoding, employing what is termed a "Vector Step Resistance Network”, while the other four arrays on the reverse side handle PCM decoding, utilizing the classic R2R structure. The high-performance decoding unit, powered by an CPLD, ensures exceptional sound fidelity and precise audio reproduction.
> NOS/OS/Best - Three-Mode Switching
> OS Mode: It applies oversampling to digital signals to minimize quantization errors, reduce noise, and improve the SNR and DNR, significantly enhancing audio performance. You can manually select different oversampling rates within the OS mode to achieve a sound quality that aligns with your preferences.
> NOS Mode: It bypasses oversampling and decodes audio at the original sample rate, preserving the authentic characteristics of the audio signal for the most accurate and real listening experience.
> Best Mode: It automatically selects the optimal oversampling rate based on the source's sample rate and the DAC's internal processing capabilities, achieving an ideal balance between performance and sound quality.
> Note: Centaurus displays the input signal's sample rate, not the post-oversampling sample rate.
> Ten bands high-precision PEQ adjustment
> We develop a brand new PEQ adjustment* that supports ten customizable frequency bands. TOPPING's brand new PEQ algorithm and desktop software allow you to fine-tune the frequency, gain, and bandwidth of each PEQ band. The software supports the import of target curves and raw curves, and enables curve compensation using the target curve. It can also save multiple profiles for easy switching.

> Equipped with QCC5125 chip, TOPPING Centaurus supports Bluetooth 5.1 and can support up to 96kHz/24bit. Also it fully supports LDAC/aptX-Adaptive/aptX/aptX HD/AAC/SBC and other audio encodings, allowing high-quality audio to be transmitted wirelessly to provide a music experience beyond CD level.
