With the DAC, Gustard offers a high-performance headphone amplifier and preamplifier, benefiting from careful and intelligent manufacturing. With its independent symmetrical and asymmetrical circuits and capable of delivering a high level of power, it can be used with most of the headphones on the market.
Gustard has released its latest desktop amplifier system, the Gustard H-16. It is a powerful amplifier churning out humongous output power with ultra-low distortion and super clean background. The H-16 can be utilized as a pre-amp for your speaker systems or as a headphone amplifier with four different output ports.
Fully Balanced Architecture:-
The Gustard H-16 features a fully balanced architecture with balanced XLR input and multiple balanced output options. It features a balanced 4-pin XLR headphone output, 4.4mm Bal output, 3.5mm PRO output ports on the front. It can also act as a balanced pre-amp with the XLR pre-amp output on the back. Apart from these balanced ports the device also supports 6.35mm unbalanced headphone output and unbalanced RCA input/output ports.
Headphone PowerHouse:-
Adding the Gustard H-16 to your chain open the doors to unimaginable power in your audio setup. Do you have a pair of cans that no matter how much power you throw at it feel hungry for more?? Well, the case will be different with the Gustard H-16. It has a monstrous power rating of up to 3700mW @ 64Ω of load. Even at 600Ω of load it has an output power of 566mW.
Amplifiers At Their Finest:-
Clean output, Ultra-low distortion, Noise-free background, Monstrous output power, are just some of the key features of the Gustard X-16. It is a perfect amplifier system for desktop audio chains with its uncolored natural sound signal amplification.
Its preamplification and power stage is based on one LME49722 chip and two LNE49724 chips. It is thus capable of delivering a power of 3700mW under 64Ω on its balanced outputs, while offering a detailed, rich and dynamic restitution. The inputs are accompanied by a buffer using an AOP OPA1642 and an AOP OPA1678.
Also at the heart of the device are an Altera CPLD and an STC MCU, responsible for processing audio signals quickly, while ensuring low jitter.
On the power supply side, the H16 incorporates a linear power supply, using a custom-made toroidal transformer, in order to cleanly power all the audio circuits.
Finally, the volume level is adjustable thanks to a relay volume control, making it possible to maintain a perfectly identical sound level on both channels.
The H16 is equipped with a complete set of connectors to accompany all types of helmets. Thus, the input is asymmetrical RCA and symmetrical XLR. On the output side, the unit offers preamplifier outputs with unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR, as well as an unbalanced headphone output in 6.35mm jack format, and 3 balanced headphone outputs in 3.5mm jack, 4.4mm jack and 4 pin XLR formats.
